The Upper Town is reachable by funicular. Its historic center is surrounded by Venetian walls and to fully experience the charm of this city, just let yourself be carried away by the medieval streets and lanes that lead to the Piazza del Duomo, whose view you can see from the Cathedral and the Baptistery, to the Colleoni Chapel, to the Romanesque basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Piazza Vecchia, the heart of the historic center with its fountain, the Civic Tower and the Palazzo della Ragione.

During the visit it is a must to stop and taste typical products in the beautiful old inns and visit the workshops of the artisans to fully experience the typical traditions of this city.
